Spring Break Day Camp: April 10 - 14, 2017
Summer Day Camp Week 1: June 19 - 23, 2017
Summer Day Camp Week 2: June 26 - 30, 2017
At NBCF, camp is all about FUN!!! Campers will challenge themselves to learn new skills and make new friends during a week of non-stop fun. Camp programs focus on five key areas: literacy, math, socialization, orientation & mobility, and independence. Campers will gain confidence, working together as a team and gaining important life skills and friendships that will last a lifetime.
Again this year, NBCF is offering a Counselor-in-Training component for our teen campers. This program will allow them to experience team building exercises, leadership skills, and participation in community service opportunities within the Las Vegas community. To register you teen for the Counselor-in-Training program, use the links above.
NBCF provides a safe place for kids to learn through adaptive education and recreation built on positive reinforcement. Our day camp provides professional staff with years of experience and a registered nurse is on-site - as recommended by the American Camping Association. With the exception of field trips, all day camp activities take place at the NBCF Learning Center.
Thanks to the generosity of NBCF sponsors, day camp fees are only $50 per week and include lunches, snacks, all activities, and field trips. Financial aid is available for any family that cannot afford the $50 registration fee. Please contact Briana Myers at 702-735-6223 for additional information.
Registration is limited to visually impaired and blind students. NBCF is able to accommodate some additional special medical requirements. If your child has special needs beyond their visual impairment, please contact our staff prior to enrollment to see if day camp is the right fit for your child. Space is limited, so register early to ensure your child's spot.
Lunch provided courtesy of Fresh & Ready Foods. NBCF is a peanut free facility. Lunches consist of a sandwich, chips, fruit, and cookies.
