Preschool Director - Special Education Teacher

Status: Full-Time
Description: Join us in creating Nevada's first sighted-peer preschool for blind and visually impaired children!  We're looking for an experienced director who is passionate about serving kids with special needs (specifically kids with visual impairments), to head up our preschool team.  This preschool features specialized staffing to meet the unique challenges our students face, and to provide low student/teacher ratios.

Teacher - Visually Impaired

Status: Full-Time AND Part-Time positions available
Description: Part-Time positions based on teacher availability (after-school) for 1:1 tutoring in Braille, Abacus, Science and Math.

Full-Time position available to oversee curriculum and staff for NBCF's day care/preschool.

Lead Program Coordinator

Status: Part-Time
Description: Under general supervision of the COO, the Lead Program Coordinator works directly with blind and visually impaired children and young adults to deliver accessible program activities and opportunities that are educational and fun.

Program Coordinator

Description: Under general supervision of the COO, the Program Coordinator works directly with blind and visually impaired children and young adults to deliver accessible program activities and opportunities that are educational and fun.

Day Camp Director

Status: Part-Time (April and June, 2020)
Description: Under general supervision of the COO, the Day Camp Director provides program leadership and manages the day-to-day operations of camp. This position is responsible for ensuring that the program and all activities are accessible for blind and low vision participants. The Day Camp Director will work with the Day Camp Counselors to deliver a high quality camp experience filled with intentional educational experiences that are fun and engaging.

Day Camp Counselor

Status: Part-Time (April and June, 2020)
Description: Under general supervision of the Day Camp Director, the Day Camp Counselor engages blind and visually impaired children in accessible activities that are educational and fun. The Day Camp Counselor has a responsibility to ensure that campers are safe and engaged in the activities of the camp.
