Teacher - Visually Impaired

Status: Full-Time AND Part-Time positions available
Description: Part-Time positions based on teacher availability (after-school) for 1:1 tutoring in Braille, Abacus, Science and Math.

Full-Time position available to oversee curriculum and staff for NBCF's day care/preschool.

Receptionist

Status: Full-Time
Description: The Front Desk Receptionist performs all reception and clerical duties at the front desk of the building. The goal is to make sure our students, families, and visitors feel comfortable and valued while at NBCF.

 

Building Custodian

Status: Part-Time
Description: The primary role of the Building Custodian is to keep the facilities and grounds of Nevada Blind Children's Foundation clean and orderly.

Marketing Coordinator

Status: Part-Time
Description: The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for providing key support for marketing and event efforts, particularly in ongoing digital communications for both marketing and fundraising, for Nevada Blind Children's Foundation and Children's Learning Center.

Lead Program Coordinator

Status: Part-Time
Description: Under general supervision of the COO, the Lead Program Coordinator works directly with blind and visually impaired children and young adults to deliver accessible program activities and opportunities that are educational and fun.

Program Coordinator

Status: Part-Time
Description: Under general supervision of the COO, the Program Coordinator works directly with blind and visually impaired children and young adults to deliver accessible program activities and opportunities that are educational and fun.

Day Camp Director

Status: Part-Time (April and June, 2020)
Description: Under general supervision of the COO, the Day Camp Director provides program leadership and manages the day-to-day operations of camp. This position is responsible for ensuring that the program and all activities are accessible for blind and low vision participants. The Day Camp Director will work with the Day Camp Counselors to deliver a high quality camp experience filled with intentional educational experiences that are fun and engaging.

Day Camp Counselor

Status: Part-Time (April and June, 2020)
Description: Under general supervision of the Day Camp Director, the Day Camp Counselor engages blind and visually impaired children in accessible activities that are educational and fun. The Day Camp Counselor has a responsibility to ensure that campers are safe and engaged in the activities of the camp.
