Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation Elects New Officers to Board of Directors
LAS VEGAS – Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation (NBCF), the state’s only specialized service provider specifically for children with low vision and blindness, recently held elections to name new officers for its Board of Directors for 2019 – 2021.
Incoming president, Elaine Wenger-Roesener of the Roesener Family Charitable Trust has been a board member since the organization got its start in 2006; this will be her first term serving as an officer with the organization.
Other officers include; Dr. Helga Pizio of New Eyes as Vice President, Franz Kallao General Manager of The Mirage as Secretary, and John Bulloch of Erickson & Whitaker as Treasurer. All have previously served on the board. Outgoing president, Dr. Rudy Manthei served the organization in his role from 2017-2019 and will continue to serve on the board as Immediate Past President.
Each officer will serve a two-year term. Other members of the board include; Lorena Acosta, Dr. Chris Chiodo, Janet Clark, James Cohill, Dr. Mark Doubrava, Jeremy Galinat, Susan Pucciarelli and Kevin Spilsbury who is also a founding member of NBCF along with his wife, Toni.
