Amanda, originally from Oakland, California, relocated to Las Vegas in June 2023 when her partner entered the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV. Holding a biology degree with a minor in public health from the University of Nevada Reno, she brings valuable experience from her time at the SPCA of Northern Nevada. Amanda is passionate about advocating for underprivileged minority populations and contributing to the life skills development of students.

She finds joy in the boundless curiosity and creativity of the children at NBCF. Sheโ€™s also found she loves spending time with Issac, our resident gecko. Beyond work, Amanda, a dedicated animal lover, having spent five years fostering dogs when she was younger. In her free time, she enjoys the therapeutic benefits of hiking and the creative satisfaction of building and refurbishing furniture.
