
Ashley Glenn
Digital Media Coordinator
Ashley Glenn joined the NBCF as a camp coordinator in 2019 and later became a lead program coordinator for after school programs and distance education during the COVID-19 pandemic. She then came back to NBCF in 2022 to become the Digital Media Coordinator. Ashley holds two Bachelor’s degrees; one in Journalism & Media Studies and the other in Women’s Studies.
Ashley has spent her career in between the nonprofit circuit and freelance writing. She’s written for entertainment publications such as Vegas Seven, Las Vegas Informer, Ranker, Valnet, and several others. In 2021, she spent time as the Office Manager of Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions, a free-roam cat rescue in Las Vegas where she also helped to develop volunteer training and relations. Ashley has several certifications for animal nonprofit management and welfare; she also assisted NBCF in its upkeep and animal education.
Ashley combines her passion for helping those in need and media management by coming back to work at an organization she loves. Her favorite part is bringing her animals to spend time with the students. She’s an animal mom of 10; she has cats, ferrets and geckos, several of which are special needs. Ashley spends her free time painting pet memorials and spending time with her animal kids.
