
Cynthia Duron
Administrative Assistant
Cynthia Duron started working with NBCF in April 2022, starting as a program coordinator. She now works as the Administrative Assistant. Born in Mexico, Cynthia was raised in California and has been a Las Vegas resident for 17 years.
Cynthia has always been a passionate volunteer for various nonprofits since the age of 16. Throughout her Las Vegas residency, her primary focus in volunteering has been working with children; Adoption Exchange, Make a Wish, Ronald Mcdonald House, and Springs Preserve. Before making the career switch to nonprofits, Cynthia worked as a Newborn Hearing Screener at St. Rose & Henderson Hospital’s NICU and Labor Delivery. She then worked at Kelly Hawkins Physical Therapy as an Insurance Coordinator.
Cynthia has a variety of passions outside of work, including going on road trips, hiking, camping, rock climbing and spending time near oceans and rivers. She has entered two eating contests; first at the Strawberry Festival shortcake eating contest, winning 2nd place against 15 contestants. Then, she competed in the 2 pound sushi burrito challenge at Jogasaki Burrito, where she became the first woman to win first place and made the champion wall.
