Elizabeth Santa-Cruz
Preschool Director
Elizabeth Santa-Cruz is the Preschool Director at the Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation. She is currently enrolled at Arizona University Global Campus for her degree in Early Childhood Education, with an emphasis in early intervention. She is certified as an Early Childhood Educator (CDA) for both preschool (through High Scope Curriculum) and infant/toddler (through CCEI).
She has over 20 years of experience working with children from birth to 5 years old, in both public and private schools. She has worked with a variety of different disabilities, and is passionate about helping children reach their full potential. She began working with NBCF in 2023 because she loves to be a part of the change that impacts families’ lives for the better and believes NBCF’s mission helps achieve that. She is a strong advocate for her students and works closely with their families to ensure that they are getting the support they need.
In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family, decorating, organizing, and designing the spaces in her home. She also enjoys exploring new things with her four daughters. She believes her greatest achievement is seeing her daughters grow up to be good people. She is also a fan of wild animals, especially eagles, lions, whales, and elephants.
