Veronica Seymour

Grant Writer

Veronica Seymour is the grant writer for NBCF, joining the organization in 2017. She made her start in the nonprofit world 13 years ago through the AmeriCorps Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) program in Houston, Texas with the College For all Texans Foundation. For 6 years, Veronica served southern Nevada in various capacities by holding positions with Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada, Opportunity Village, Easterseals Nevada (now Capability Health & Human Services),  before working with Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation.

Veronica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Victim Services from Sam Houston State University and received her certificate for Nonprofit Management at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). She completed the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate through the University of South Florida. 

She currently volunteers with her sorority, Sigma Sigma Sigma. Veronica is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Grant Professionals Association.  Veronica serves on the Junior League of Pensacola’s Board as the President Elect.  In what’s left of her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and dog, reading, and staying active.
